Even though the temperatures have dropped, that doesn’t mean the fun has stopped.

Here are a few ways to stay warm while having some family fun around the Milwaukee area.

Skate the day away

The Pettit National Ice Center, Milwaukee, is open for public skating throughout the winter. Visit thepettit.com for dates and times.

Play for the day

A pirate ship, construction zone and a theatrical play stage all await kids at the Children’s Play Gallery, 126 E. Wisconsin Ave., Oconomowoc. Admission is $10 for kids over age 1; adults are free.

Bounce the day away

Helium Trampoline Park in New Berlin offers plenty of trampolines, as well as a rock climbing wall and a diving pit. Helium has open jump time and tot times. Get pricing and hours HERE.

Catch a flick

Marcus Theatres has $5 admission on Tuesdays at its Southgate location, 3330 South 30th St., Milwaukee, and Majestic theater, 770 Springdale Road, Brookfield.

Slip, slide the day away

The temperature at the Country Springs Hotel’s waterpark is always a toasty 84 degrees. There’s plenty of tube and body slides, a lazy river, activity pool, indoor/outdoor hot tub, zero-depth pool, and an arcade.
